About Us
This family owned Marina is set in a secure, peaceful location accommodating mainly linear pontoon moorings with water and electricity. A limited number of towpath moorings are also available.
Not commercialised in any way, just simply peace and quiet in a rural, natural environment.

Location
Welford Marina is situated on the Leicester summit of the grand Union canal at the end of the Welford arm. The summit is accessed through a single lock adjacent to the Marina to give 20 miles of lock-free cruising.
The village of Welford has a grocery store, post office , hairdressers, garage and not forgetting the Wharf Inn pub.
Set in a village location directly behind the Wharf Inn pub.
Just 15 minutes from junction 20 on the M1 and 5 minutes from junction 1 on the A14.
Moorings
Mooring fees are paid quarterly or yearly with a 5% discount.
Some of our customers have been with us for in excess of 25 years.
Many customers who have tried other marinas with more facilities have returned to our simple but unspoilt location.
Dry Dock
There is a dry and wet dock and a maintenance service available on site.
